So, I've known for a couple months that there are now 26 confirmed victims and it appears there might be another.....?
I can understand the shock and disbelief when coming across this information for the first time. Some say they were already thinking this is what they were dealing with, but finding the website just confirmed their suspicions. Others have said they had no idea they were dealing with something this f*&^%$ up. I can understand that you need time to process what you've just read. Its a lot to wrap your head around and can still be difficult to make sense of what you just learned. Some have said they appreciate the comfort they experience when learning they are not the only ones who have been scammed in this manner.
Its amazing what we can figure out when there are fresh ideas and perspectives coming together. Contacting researchers, professionals, television shows, other forms of media to draw more attention to this behavior can only help bring everyone closer to getting an answer to their questions of "who" and "why."
It's also nice for me to have a chance to speak to the victims, provide support for them, answer any questions that I can and help them through the process of moving on and letting go. It's wonderful to hear how so many have moved passed this terrible experience and are able to develop loving and trusting relationships with people who treat them the way they deserve to be treated :) I'm very proud of you girls for the strength it takes to recover from something so damaging. All of these girls are very special people and were taken advantage of by a horrible person. I'm here and willing to help :)
